
Oakland native Kathreen Khavari is an award-winning writer, actor, and producer. She co-wrote, produced, and starred in the Refinery29/VICE pilot EMBRACE, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2020 SxSW Film Festival and premiered at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, and is currently being developed into a feature film. As an actor, Kathreen has appeared in HBO’s critically-acclaimed series INSECURE and BIG LITTLE LIES and has worked with prolific directors Christopher Guest, Jean-Marc Vallée, Prentice Penny, and Melina Matsoukas. As a voice artist, Kathreen plays Twitch in TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK, Ms. Marvel in the Disney/Marvel franchise MARVEL RISING, AVENGERS ASSEMBLE, SPIDER-MAN, and BLACK PANTHER’S QUEST. She’s also the voice of Badyah in Netflix’s animated fantasy horror comedy DEAD END: PARANORMAL PARK and has voiced characters in CRAIG OF THE CREEK, BE COOL SCOOBY-DOO!, STRETCH ARMSTRONG AND THE FLEX FIGHTERS, and several characters in Bethesda Studios’ ARP game STARFIELD.
